Marposs introduced its new M3 Star line of ultra thin manual snap gauges at IMTS 2008. The new M3 Star manual snap gauges combine high technology with high quality in only a 10mm thickness. The gauges are available in mechanical, electronic and wireless Bluetooth® versions, with dedicated or adjustable V-part reference, to meet a wide variety of measuring needs. The special slim design enables the M3 Star snap gauge to engage narrow diameters between shoulders or “grooves” on crankshafts and is particularly suitable for measuring short external diameters close to shoulders on transmission and main industrial shafts.
