ROBA-DS disk pack professional couplings in test stands for large worm gears

The Research Institute for Toothed Wheels and Gear Construction (FZG - Forschungsstelle für Zahnräder und Getriebebau) at the Technical University in Munich are putting a worm gear test stand into operation for a research project by the Research Union for Power Transmission (FVA - Forschungsvereinigung Antriebstechnik), which is constructed as a closed circuit device. The individual components are connected to each other via shaft couplings, among others with three ROBA-DS disk pack couplings from mayr power transmission.
