MEDER electronic last week introduced the MK23-66 series of un-molded low cost SMT sensors. Drawing on well over 25 years of experience in designing and manufacturing Reed sensors MEDER is now introducing the next generation of low profile space saving SMT reed sensors. The un-mold gull wing design allows for easy visual inspection of the solder joints while the terminals increasing the surface area for the solder connection. The MK23-66 series glass size ranges from as small as 7mm to the larger 14mm. All variants featuring the SMT lead termination. The MK23-66 series comes standard on Tape & Professional reel for ease of auto insertion. The un-mold design allows MEDER to compete in the low-cost competitive market place.
