Medigus Ltd. will be showcasing its miniature CCD video professional cameras at MEDICA (Booth E21, Hall 13), Nov. 14-17, 2007 at Messe Dusseldorf in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Medigus will be demonstrating the world’s smallest CCD video cameras for endoscopy, measuring only 1.8mm x 1.8mm and 3mm x 3mm.

The cameras are ready-for-integration into suppliers of endoscopes and are suitable as visualization devices for companies that wish to manufacture their own video endoscopes based on the cameras. All cameras are manufactured and assembled at the company’s facilities and state of the art optical testing equipment is used during the process. The miniaturized cameras allow for decreased endoscope diameters for visualizing hard-to-access areas. Alternatively, the cameras allow for relatively large working channels in an endoscope. Applications for the cameras include both medical and industrial endoscopy. The cameras are used in existing endoscopes of many corporations including several of the major players in the medical device industry.

In addition, Medigus offers endoscope design and manufacturing services, using its cameras as well as other proprietary technologies.
