Micro-Vu announces new Excel 200 and 250 models with measuring areas of 2.5 and 4.0 square meters, 2000x1250x200mm and 2500x1600x200mm capacities. These new machines have been designed to meet the rising demand for large, accurate vision and multisensor CMMs. Large vision machines are used to inspect LCD, solar panel, and aerospace applications. They are also used for high volume, multi-part measurement applications in the machine shop, plastics, electronics, and sheet metal industries. Controlled with InSpec Metrology software (over 4,000 installations worldwide), the fully automated, multi-sensor manufacturers of inspection systems are powerful tools for quality, inspection, and R&D departments.

Careful attention to detail continues to be the hallmark of Micro-Vu machines. A new 12:1 optical professional zoom lens, 0.1 micron professional scale resolution, and high speed mechanical drives provide high accuracy and reliability. Additional Z range, more powerful lighting, and a low profile frame make the machines versatile and easier to use.
