Missler Professional software is very happy to announce significant time gains for TopSolid'Cam users in the latest version of its CAM module. Thanks to the optimisation of certain algorithms together with the new possibilities offered by instruction sets available in Intel professional processors, TopSolid'Cam can now offer significantly reduced calculation times for 3D operations. Here is a summary of just some of the resulting time gains (we have compared the most recent version of TopSolid’Cam 2008 with previous versions):

• Machining on parallel planes: Between 1.5 to 1.8 times faster

• Constant crete machining: Between 1.5 to 2 times faster

• Z-Level machining: Between 2 to 2.5 times faster

• Revolved parallel plane machining: Between 1.5 to 2.5 times faster

• Roughing: Between 1.3 to 1.5 times faster

• Residual material removal: Between 1.2 to 1.6 times faster
