Mitsubishi Electric is extending its product line with a new series of 24-volt power supply units for mechanical and plant engineering applications. The new devices have been developed specially for supplying DC power to industrial automation components. They can be installed on top-hat rails and are available in a range of versions for single-phase and three-phase mains power supplies, with output ratings of up to one kilowatt.
The new PSU series from Mitsubishi Electric combines comprehensive standard functions with high quality and reliability in a compact package. The line includes four single-phase and two three-phase units. The slim design of the units saves space in the switchgear cabinet, which means that they are also a good choice for use in standard machines produced in large series.
The robust devices of the PSU series deliver a constant and stable output of 24V DC without restrictions along with the required currents, even in environments with high ambient temperatures of up to 55°C. The MTBF (mean time between failures) rating of 500,000 hours translates into error-free continuous operation for 57 years.
International certifications like the CE approval as well as UL and cUL marks are standard on all models, making it possible to use them with confidence all over the world.
An integrated function monitoring system automatically diagnoses improper operating conditions and makes operation and checking the power supplies much easier (clear LED indicators).
