Mitsubishi Electric has now rounded off its GOT1000 series with four new entry-level control terminals in the GT10 line. These very compact new terminals combine powerful visuali-sation with outstanding value for money.

The graphical control terminals of the GT1030 line have 5.5” touch-sensitive screens. Measuring just 145mm wide, 76mm high and 29.5mm deep, the terminals have bright, clear professional displays with a resolution of 288 x 96 pixels. The switchable backlight is available in a choice of two colour combinations: green, orange and red or white, pink and red. Processes can be visualised clearly and intui-tively with the help of a wide selection of screen fonts in different sizes, including Windows fonts. The 1.5 megabyte project memory is amply dimensioned, even for more complex projects.

Even the entry-level models come with many integrated functions, including setpoint value entry, alarm displays, recipe management, password protection and multi-language support. They support the Unicode 2.1 standard, which means they can also correctly display languages with complex character sets like Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic and Arabic. For international applications the user interface can be switched to different languages at the touch of a button. The control terminals can be installed and operated horizontally or vertically and the front panels have an IP67 ingress protection rat-ing (protected against dust ingress and brief immersion in water).
