Montech AG has signed an exclusive agreement Buchmann Deutschland GmbH for selling the Montrac transport system by the Swiss company to the optical industry in Europe and North America. The system will be marketed in the optical industry with the WECO OptoMove brand.

„WECO OptoMove is a monorail track that can be used to build cost-effective, flexible and intelligent transport systems,” said Klaus Krengel, Product Manager Industry. WECO OptoMove allows to link the different stations of an eyeglass production and machining plant. The self-moving shuttles communicate with the rail via infrared and follow the assigned track by means of an ID number.
