The new synchronous controls of types BY340 and BY641 definitely bridge a gap in the market. Despite of a very compact design and a really fair price they provide top-efficiency with most applications of electronic synchronous control (angular, positional and with adjustable speed ratio). Furthermore these smart units can handle all major functions of manual or automatic phase and position control between a Master axis and a speed variable Slave drive.

The controllers can be operated by the front keypad or via serial link. A module for PROFIBUS connection is available.

Due to the low price, these new controllers allow new solutions of electronic synchronization with small machines and limited budgets.
