FOXBOX is a new type of junction enclosure designed to meet the requirements of fully automated module production. Professional robot compatibility ensures that, in a mass production environment, the boxes can be fitted quickly and cost-effectively. This not only enhances the reliability of the production process – it also results in a first-class product with up to 25 years’ guarantee on the modules.
The junction box comprises two parts: the cables and diodes are housed in the top part. The bottom half is stuck to the module and the top part is simply clipped on allowing easy replacement (no tools needed)
of the top parts when necessary. This simplifies, on the one hand installation work – for instance with difficult installation conditions on the roof – to the other, electro-technical laymen can also easily exchange components during service.
Storage and logistics costs can be minimised, too, as only one spare part need be kept on stock.
