Transformerless PowerWave 33 UPS up to 5 MegaWatts Newave

The new PowerWave 33 is the continuation of Newave’s renowned tradition of developing state-of-the-art UPS systems, focusing on delivering the best combination of energy-efficiency
and overall power performance in the industry. Offering maximum power protection, the PowerWave 33 helps you to use less energy, generates less CO2 and takes up less space, resulting in significant cost savings.
The PowerWave 33 boasts features and options that cater to customers’ needs, including the flexibility to accommodate an increase in power requirements with n+1 parallel redundancy. Easy installation and maintenance form the basis of the core design for this stand-alone UPS system with only frontal electrical connections and fully serviceable components.
Using transformer-less design combined with ESIS (Energy Saving Inverter Switching), POWERWAVE 33 is the energy-saving UPS with highest double conversion efficiencies of up to 96% even with partial loads.
Thanks to the very low input THDI < 3.5% and the near unity input PF=0.99, even with partial loads, POWERWAVE 33 series avoids unnecessary over sizing of generator sets and upstream distribution switchgear as well as the use of additional expensive compensating filter solution which consequently keeps
the overall UPS-efficiency high.
POWERWAVE 33 500kW has the smallest footprint of 1.4 m2 and has the highest power density of 356 KW/m2 compared to equivalent stand alone UPS products in the industry.
If additional capacity or redundancy is needed, up to 10 independent UPS units can be mounted in parallel with common or separate battery configurations. Built with NEWAVE’S superior Decentralized Parallel Architecture (DPA)™, it enables the scaling of units for power capacity increase or for redundancy purpose without the need of transferring to raw mains.
