NORD-LOCK has, as the first bolt securing system in the world, been certified by DNV.

The independent foundation DNV (Det Norske Veritas) has type approved NORD-LOCK locking washers. The certification process took over two years and included independent tests (vibration test according to DIN 65151 and accelerated vibration test according to NASM 1312-7). Moreover; NORD-LOCK’s production and quality assurance system was thoroughly investigated.

DNV recommends NORD-LOCK for preloaded bolted assemblies subjected to dynamic, fatigue, impact and vibration induced loading.
