UNICASE housings are made from one single-piece casting with integrated bearing manufacturers seats – there are no sealing surfaces that could deflect under the effect of torque or radial forces, which eliminates gearset misalignment problems. NORD’s product portfolio includes helical inline, helical parallel-shaft, helical-bevel, helical-worm, worm and planetary gear units, with friction disk or V-belt speed variation, delivering torques from 10 Nm to 100,000 Nm. A range of motors with outputs from 0,12 kW to 200 kW is also available, from IEC standard types to highly dynamic synchronous servo motors. NORD also supplies compact drives integrating mechanical and electronic components, e.g. the compact NORDAC trio SK 300E combining geared motors with motor-mounted frequency inverters.
