NORD’s SK 700E frequency inverters, which belong to the tried-and-tested NORDAC line, are specified for a mid-to-upper level power range between 1,5 and 160 kW. The basic model operates with sensorless current vector control (ISD). The typical overload capability is 150% for 60 s and 200% for 3.5 s. Standard features include an integrated brake chopper and a line filter (class A according to EN 55011, up to 22 kW). Combining high-performance control functionality and comprehensive protection and monitoring systems for the controller and motor, the units ensure excellent reliability.

Thanks to the modular design of the NORDAC product range, the SK 700E has a wide application range. Internal I/O and fieldbus modules and external plugin technology boxes allow users to configure and adapt the controllers to meet the requirements of individual applications. Interface kits are available for all standard fieldbuses, thereby ensuring seamless integration into existing automation environments. SK 700E units have flexible control and configuration options: depending on the complexity of the task, technology boxes or the NORDCON PC software can be used. The Parameterbox, for instance, allows for on-site startup without a manual. High-precision axis control can be implemented to together with an incremental or absolute encoder. Another extension module enables positioning control, with up to 252 positions stored in the inverter.
