According to Frost & Sullivan, Objet broke into and gained significant share in the world rapid prototyping equipment market, which is dominated by well-established companies that pose significant barriers to entry for new vendors. The award citation noted that Objet has seen double-digit growth rates year-on-year for the past three years and has been gaining a significant market presence ever since it started shipping its products in 2001. Additionally, it said that Objet has defined new standards and set new benchmarks in the rapid prototyping equipment market since the introduction of its patented and innovative PolyJet™ technology in early 2000.
