The core competences of OKW Gehäusesysteme GmbH are the development and distribution of solution-oriented standard cases and tuning knobs made of plastic. However, if individual solutions are required, OKW can offer a wide range of in-company services in order to modify the standard products quickly and cheaply in accordance with the specific needs of the user. The range of services offered here comprises several options for reworking, for example drilling holes, cutting threads, countersinking, milling, stamping as well as glueing additional spacer sleeves and pillars in place for mounting PCBs. Furthermore, OKW cases and tuning knobs can be given a company-specific appearance by means of screen/tampo printing as well as new surface finishes (e.g. soft-touch, soft-look, metallic colours, water transfer printing, UV lacquer etc.). If the parts are required to have special properties, such as resistance to chemicals, non-flammability or continuous, solid colours, OKW can also produce the cases in other materials and colours. A further extremely useful service is the acquisition and installation of accessories, such as screwed cable glands, display screens, connectors, bushings, membrane keyboards, digital printing films etc., which can also be made ready immediately on request.
