OLYMPUS INTRODUCES THE NEW IPLEX LX AND IPLEX LT INDUSTRIAL VIDEOSCOPES.

Olympus is pleased to announce the introduction of the new IPLEX LX and IPLEX LT industrial videoscopes. These new small and lightweight videoscope products can be used for a wide range of remote visual inspection of parts or structures where access is limited, offering portability, ease of use, durability, and a host of practical features.

The IPLEX LX and LT represent two of the most compact and lightweight systems available today, at just 2.7kg including battery. Despite this compact size, both systems incorporate an industry leading 6.5” daylight view LCD monitor, with superb resolution and performance in direct sunlight.

The IPLEX LX and LT provide rugged durability by complying with MIL-STD and IP55 standards, making them suitable for operation in harsh environments.

Although small in size, the IPLEX LX and IPLEX LT do not compromise performance and functionality. They provide excellent colour reproduction and superb image clarity that allow detection of very small defects. The IPLEX LX also features the unique WiDER™ (Wide Dynamic Extended Range) image processing capability that brings out detail in shadowed and highlighted areas to produce bright, contrast-balanced images across the entire depth of field. For optimum magnification, the new units offer a comprehensive range of interchangeable optical tip adaptors. The new integrated LED system fitted within the optical tip adaptors delivers vivid illumination regardless of scope length. In addition, the unique SmartTip™ feature equipped with optical tip adaptors permits recording of adaptor information along with captured images for inspection traceability.

An ergonomic lightweight handset provides access to all system commands via a new intuitive menu. In addition TrueFeel™ scope tip angulation is also controlled from the lightweight handset as well as direct access to image recording functions. For convenience, high quality JPEG still images and MPEG-4 video files are recorded directly to a removable USB Flash Drive.
