The optris CThot allows temperature measurements and the use of the IR sensor head under environmental temperatures up to 250°C without any need of cooling.
The narrow beam optics of these sensors with a high optical resolution of 10:1 allows oblique aiming to avoid material dependent temperature readings.
A response time of 30ms is a big benefit and is setting a benchmark in these sensor family. Most of the rival products are much slower (in the range of seconds) , and they have a more worse optical resolution (1:3 or less) , making material independent measurements more difficult.
The optris CThot is usable in a varity of applications in dryers, ovens, heat treatment lines in the metal and glass industry, paper, plastic and textile manufacturing and semiconductor processing in the temperature range of -40 to 975°C.
Optris offers for all CT series infrared thermometers an integrated Profibus DP interface (optional) or other plug in digital interfaces (optional) like USB, RS232, RS485 or CAN.
