Every third year Messe Düsseldorf and EHI Retail Institute arrange EuroShop – The Global Retail Trade Fair in Düsseldorf. On February 23 to 27 the international retail industry meets, when it is time for the 16th edition of EuroShop. The event is already attracting massive interest in Germany and around the world. EuroShop is the leading international fair for retail investment and over 1800 exhibitors have registered this year compared with 1650 firms when EuroShop was staged last time in 2005. The audience is international and so are the exhibitors, since 50 countries are represented by the exhibiting firms.

The increasing interest means that EuroShop is growing in terms of space and in 2008 the trade fair is larger than ever and it will take up more than 100,000 m² exhibition space. According to statistics there were 91,000 trade visitors from 93 countries at EuroShop 2005 and there is a good chance that the number of visitors will exceed that amount this year.
The fair offers a variety of product segments and visitors can browse between stands in the categories shop professional fitting, shop professional furnishings, store design, lighting, cooling logistics and waste management equipments.
