Controller Electronics for Multi-Axis Piezo Tip/Tilt Mirrors
Fast tip/tilt platforms of Physik Instrumente (PI) are primarily needed for beam steering and stabilization in diverse applications.
The E-616 multi-axis control electronics system was developed especially for piezoelectric tip/tilt mirrors and combines all functions of a multi-channel controller and amplifier. The deflection angle can be commanded directly, independent of the mechanical design of the tip/tilt platform. This relieves the user of the problem of external transformation in software or hardware.
