Many brands under one roof – Power Jacks linear motion brand family
Power Jacks unites several brand names under one roof. The company has a long engineering history at its plant in Fraserburgh, Scotland and consequently there are several brand names found on its supplied products that may not be immediately recognisable.
The factory has been sited at Fraserburgh since 1903 and jack manufacture first started in the1930s. Since then Power Jacks’ product range has grown to include screw jacks, linear cylinders, bevel gearboxes and planetary wheel screws. A variety of brand names have been used on the company’s products including Consolidated Pneumatic (CP), Premag, Duff-Norton, Precision Actuation Systems (PAS), Fortune Engineering, Neeter Drive, and Youngs Lifting.
If a product such as a screw jack, linear industrial actuator or bevel gearbox with one of these trade names needs to be upgraded to a new unit, then Power Jacks can still supply an interchangeable unit in most cases. With all upgrades the user also benefits from the numerous design improvements that have been continuously made to the product ranges over the years.
