Stretch Hooding Technology from Premier Tech Premier Tech Chronos

When packaging line automation is considered, pallet load securing is a part of the process that is sometimes overlooked. For a few years now, Premier Tech Chronos has offered the LH-400 Series, a stretch hooder that provides the weather protection and load stability benefits of a sealed and tight one-piece cover, while being as economical as stretch wrapping. The deployment of this platform is progressing rapidly: several Premier Tech units are now in operation in the Americas, in various industries. We put the finishing touches on the platform’s design in light of the expertise we acquired through the various projects we participated in, and leveraging the thorough experience of our European business unit Chronos BTH, which has many stretch hooders in operation in Europe. The Premier Tech platform was especially designed for the American market and is entirely supported in North America. It can naturally be matched with any of Premier Tech’s packaging solutions for a complete and extremely efficient packaging line.

The LH-400 Series Stretch Hooder is a high-performance pallet load securing system which uses a stretch hooding technology to secure different types of loads stacked on a pallet. The system guarantees your customers optimum product safety by protecting it against humidity, UV rays, weather conditions and the damages caused by cargo shift during transport, as well as tamper-evident packages. Its high speed capacity (between 60 and 110 pallets per hour) and low maintenance requirements provide minimal operating costs. The installation is quick with minimal wiring and assembling on site. The transparent hood ensures product visibility. Film usage is reduced to a minimum, with consistent packaging costs. It is an economical and durable system without hydraulics, and heavy-duty construction. It can be used for containers, bags, boxes, bottles, cans, trays, big bags, octabins, barrels and loose products. This innovative system can be used in all industrial segments and is already widely used in the food, feed, agriculture, chemicals and mineral industries.
