The PROCECO automatic bogie/truck washer is engineered for the demanding rail and transit maintenance processes. The system cleans rail car bogies/trucks moving on their own wheels, bogies frames without wheels, or other components loaded onto a trolley. PROCECO bogie washers deliver fast, high-quality cleaning while reducing chemical and labor costs.

PROCECO cleaning technology uses environmentally friendly water-based cleaning solutions instead of harmful solvents. The cleaning process consists of a wash stage using a continuously recirculated and filtered hot-water cleaning solution containing a low detergent concentration (between 2% and 5%) followed by a freshwater rinse stage. The cleaning solution is power sprayed by a spray manifold that surrounds the four sides of the stationary bogie and travels back and forth the entire length of the part, ensuring complete coverage of all surfaces. Typical cleaning time is 30 - 60 minutes and requires no labor except for loading/unloading. The system effectively removes oils, greases, debris, and road dusts prior to inspection and repair.
