The Zinc anodes need to be inspected on a regular basis and shall be replaced before the anodes is consumed.

An important part of Pumpex ZincPro is a belt with a number of Zinc anodes to attach around the pump body. The belt is easily adjusted to the diameter of the pump and safeguards a perfect contact between the Zinc anodes and the aluminium castings of the pump for optimum efficiency.
Pumpex ZincPro thereby prevents the pump from being subject to excess corrosion of the aluminium parts of the pump.
