Qmax Introduces a hand held device for PCB trouble-shooting

Qmax, a leading ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Manufacturer for PCB diagnostic test and reapir has introduced a low cost hand held battery operated device that can lerarn nodal impedance of device pins in complex PCBs and compare with that of a suspect device to help indentify faults and speed up repair process more accurately. Priced at below USD 1500, it can help thousands of electronic repair shops across the world that are engaged in repair of mobile phones, LCD TVs, and other electronic gadgets. These gadgets use custom / ASIC devices and with no availability of schematics and their functional specs. Using Learn and compare technique, the reapir technician just requires a known good sample to learn analog signatures (VI Trace) and the use them instantly to compare with a faulty one. It's options include USB connectivity to an extrenal PC for strorage of known good signatures and external mux for using up to 40 pin clips.
