RAD-CON Completes Annealing Thermal Modeling Software at Sandvik
RAD-CON, Inc., (Cleveland, OH, USA) has completed commissioning of thermal modeling for the annealing process at the Sandvik Material Technologies, Inc. 100% hydrogen batch annealing facility in Sandviken, Sweden. RAD-CON supplied Sandvik with its Entec CAPS™ Level 2 control system as well as Stacking, Heating, and Cooling Models for the anneal of stainless, chromium, martensitic, and carbon steels in Sandvik Material Technologies’ Strip product area. The system interfaces with Sandvik’s plant-wide MES database and the existing PLC network for complete process integration.
