The ShadoCam Imaging Professional software is available free of charge to help you get up and running with our Shad-o-Box industrial cameras. ShadoCam provides basic imaging functionality such as image acquisition and display, offset and flat-field corrections, image statistics, professional printing and file I/O. Images are displayed and stored in 16-bit integer format to preserve the full dynamic range of the Shad-o-Box camera. You can export image bitmaps via the clipboard or in various formats for use in other applications. The latest ShadoCam version also includes full support for our Shad-o-Snap USB-enabled cameras.
ShadoCam Functions:
File Menu - New, open, close, save, export, and print image files.
Edit Menu - Copy to clipboard, duplicate, image statistics (histogram, either for the entire image or a selected region-of- interest), line profile, threshold (replace individual pixels above or below a certain value).
View Menu - Toggle toolbars, professional zoom in or out, mirror or rotate image.
Acquisition Menu - Set exposure time, acquire single, multiple (averaged) or continuous images, live video preview, toggle image corrections, set acquisition preferences.
Calibration Menu - Controls for offset, flat-field (gain) and pixel corrections, load and save calibration files.
Window Menu - Controls the multiple image document interface (tile, cascade, etc).
Help Menu - Extensive help file and context help.
Requirements:
Windows 95/98, NT, 2000 or XP. 2 MB disk space. 128 MB RAM recommended. You can run ShadoCam without a frame grabber to view images (image acquisition functions will be disabled).
