RAVAS introduces SIR Mobile, a new software interface enabling RAVAS weighing systems to be integrated directly with Windows CE or Windows Mobile terminals.

SIR Mobile is a RAVAS developed software interface, which enables direct communication between RAVAS scales and on board terminals, handheld terminals, PDA’s and Smartphones. It also allows remote operation of RAVAS scales from these devices. SIR Mobile is compatible with all Windows CE 5.0 and Windows Mobile 5.0 terminals.

The RAVAS weighing system is being connected to the mobile terminal via Bluetooth or a wired connection. The RAVAS-software on the terminal enables the operator to read out the weight shown on the terminal and to operate the weighing system remotely. Not only weighing data, but also product and order details or possibly a barcode scan can be added to the weighing and stored for direct or afterwards processing. SIR Mobile allows you to register weight information from RAVAS mobile scales directly on a data terminal, and to add additional information via barcode scans or by entering order numbers or product codes. The registered information about warehouse or production processes can be transferred from the terminal to WMS or ERP software, either on-line or off-line. The user friendly RAVAS-software enables the user to use only one terminal, everywhere in a warehouse or production facility, to register important weight and product information.
