• 2-axis laser beam deflection unit by RAYLASE with water tempering and ceramic mirrors for high deflection speed, low drift values and extremely good long-term stability

RAYLASE AG, worldwide leading manufacturer of high-precision components and subsystems for deflection, modulation and control of laser deflection, is expanding the well-known SUPERSCAN series with SUPERSCAN-LD. Thanks to its very small spot diameter and high processing speed, the new deflection unit is extremely well equipped for the most precise requirements in the packaging industry, such as cutting, perforating or kiss-cutting.

The new 2-axis laser beam deflection unit SUPERSCAN-LD is impressive with its record low long-term drift values of less than 200 µrad over 24 hours with simultaneous positioning speeds of over 6 m/s in a working field of 140 mm x 140 mm. This is made possible through water tempering and the utilization of ultra-light, highly rigid ceramic mirrors with dielectric coating and integrated cooling fins.

To support high-performance applications, RAYLASE offers optional air cooling on the rear side of the deflection mirrors. SUPERSCAN-LD is currently available with an aperture of 30 mm or as a combination in a 3-axis laser beam subsystem. The deflection unit is mechanically and electronically compatible with the XY2-100 standard and digitally controlled with a industrial control card.
