The new FOCUSSHIFTER product range sets new standards in professional laser deflection. Manufactured by RAYLASE AG, a world-leader in ultra-precision components and sub-systems for deflecting, modulating, and controlling laser beams, the 3-axis system boasts ease and flexibility of integration, along with superior long-term stability.

Thanks to the FOCUSSHIFTER, optimally-adjusted galvanometer-scanners direct the laser beam over the working area, while the module adjusts the distance between a movable lens and the focusing lens/es in real time along a third, movable Z-axis.
Compared to conventional linear motors suppliers, the highly adaptable technology of the RAYLASE 3-axis deflection subsystem is significantly faster and more accurate in use.

The sub-systems for Nd:Yag lasers and Co2 lasers have outstandingly low drift values and are available for field sizes *) from 100 x 100 mm up to 300 x 300 mm. The units are controlled digitally via the XY2-100 interface, for example with the SP-ICE controller card, or alternatively via analog voltage interfaces.

The advanced FOCUSSHIFTER deflection system combines flexible focusing in the Z axis, high deflection speeds, and long-term stability with low drift values. This combination not only lowers system costs, but also makes new applications possible. The pre-focusing linear translator module allows the focal plane to be changed and the work area to be specified. This makes it possible to produce deep engraving on the widest range of materials.
