This technology, also used in medical scanners, enables the reconstruction in 3 Dimensions of the observed object, thanks to X-Rays material-penetration capability.


Using a powerful mathematical calculation, a large number of digital radioscopies of the object undergoing a controlled rotation can be processed to rebuild the 3D-model of the object, using the information about the various densities of its internal structures.

An exploration by slices of the reconstructed object is then possible: it reveals with a high resolution the internal structures of the sample, their dimensions, position in space, and allows defects detection.
