The company Autoroutes du Sud de la France (ASF), which manages around 2,700 km of the motorway network in France, has entrusted Salicru with the installation of ILUEST devices. 74 devices, which are already fully operating, were installed in a first phase at strategic fixed points on Southern France motorways (tolls, service areas, junctions, etc.) in the major cities in the area such as Orange, Valence, Narbonne, Biarritz and Toulouse.
ASF is the leading toll motorway network in France and the second most important in Europe and holds a strategic position in the country as it connects the Angers/Lyon/Aix-en-Provence diagonal - a key link between northern Europe, the Mediterranean Arc and the Southern Atlantic Arc.
This project will enable 2,211 MWh of energy savings per year, which means more than 142,000 Euros in savings. Moreover, more than 1,200 Tm of CO2 emissions will be prevented from entering the atmosphere.
From its beginnings, Salicru has been clearly committed to energy savings for light fixtures. Proof of this is its ILUEST light flow stabilizer-dimmers, which were designed more than 15 years ago and are extensively installed throughout the country and abroad today. The ILUEST devices were pioneer in achieving an accurate regulation of discharge lamps and bring about significant energy and maintenance savings.
This project, which has been implemented via the France sales office, Salicru-France, is a milestone in Salicru's sales strategy for the French market, which currently totals around 5% of all exports.
In Spain, Salicru equipment also supplies the major motorway contractors such as Aumar, Acesa and Ava.
