Scaime, a World leader in load cells and weighing solutions, is introducing the AXD, its new digital load cell dedicated to dosing/filling management and dynamic checkweighing control.

The AXD offers capacities from 15kg to 75kg and, with a full hermetically sealed stainless steel construction, it reach an IP69K protection level. Thanks to Its patent-pending measuring principle, the AXD combine a very high accuracy with a high protection level allowing its use in harsh environments and wash down applications.

It integrates a powerful electronics allowing a transmission rate up to 1200 measurements per second with a maximum resolution of 500 000 points.
To meet the needs of demanding and very high speed weighing applications, it uses a library of powerful digital filters dedicated to vibration noise cancellation.

The AXD is available with two integrated application software versions:
- In dosing version, the AXD offers functionality dedicated to mono-product dosing/filling. According to parameters sent from a PLC, AXD manages a 2 feed dosing cycle by loading or unloading.
- In checkweighing version, The AXD controls by itself the complete weight acquisition process, also taking in consideration external detectors signals. It carries out acquisition at very high speed and automatically calculates the dynamic weight value.

Each load cell includes 2 digital inputs and 4 outputs in order to control the process. It can easily be connected to all kinds of PLC’s with RS485 and CAN serial ports, using MODbus-RTU and CANopen protocols.
In order to make setup procedure easy, SCAIME is also providing the eNodView PC freeware. A user-friendly application that provides access to a measurement viewer as well as a multi-level digital filtering simulator.
