TTP 4000: High quality thermal transfer printing Schleuniger
The thermal transfer printing process of the TTP 4000 opens up a whole range of wire marking possibilities: from texts to barcode and graphics such as logos – all in excellent resolution for maximum readability. The TTP 4000 combines two main processes in a single unit to achieve high quality abrasion-resistant printing results. In the first step, a transfer foil with the elements to be printed (texts / graphics) is prepared. Subsequently those elements are then printed on the cable in a hot stamp marking process. A special roller mechanism allows marking 360° around the cable. One of the benefits of circumferential marking is a significantly better readability as font sizes can be increased compared to conventional printing methods. Cables can also be marked on both sides if needed and on multiple positions. Running the TTP 4000 as integral part of automatic systems is fast and simple. Programming and text entry is fully integrated in Schleuniger’s PC software Cayman for cut & strip machines so that wire lists or cable libraries can all be managed including the printing parameters. Alternatively, the TTP 4000 can also be used as a stand-alone benchtop machine for semi automatic printing.
