With the new BLP 14 drives, Schneider Electric Motion completes its brushless DC motor range and offers universal and compact drive units. At dimensions of only 142 x 86 x 28 mm, the smart devices excel with high performance and the full functionality of a servo drive that can be easily integrated in control cabinets. The new BLP 14 is the only drive for brushless DC motors to offer fieldbus connection for CANopen protocol. Galvanic isolation of fieldbus and supply voltage ensures high system safety and reliability of installations. This allows for the integration of brushless DC drives into the standard fieldbus structures in industrial automation systems.
