SCHURTER extends its portfolio of filters for DC applications with the
introduction of series FMEB and FMEC. These filters are specially optimized for DC applications with technical features that support a wide range of applications.
The FMEB and FMEC filters have a current rating up to 30 A at 80 VDC.
Typical applications are found in DC supplied IT and telecom
infrastructures. When used in electrical cabinets and controls in the field
of automation, engineering and transportation, the filters guarantee a safe
operation by attenuating disturbances in the control and communication
circuits. The FMEB filter series is designed for a maximum operating
voltage of +80 VDC, while the series FMEC offers connections for two
polarities at maximum ±80 VDC.The primary side is equipped with screw clamps and the secondary side with 6.3 mm x 0.8 quick connect terminals.
Other terminal configurations are available on request. The aluminum
housing offers mounting straps to securely fasten the filter. The FMEB and
FMEC filters are approved to ENEC and UL/CSA.
