COACH DATA II – Electronics for surveillance and maintenance management of hoisting equipment SENSY
IP65 touch screen PLC, COACH DATA can be installed either on the trolley or inside the crane control cabinets. The data logger requires one analogical input from the load limitation/indication and 4 x 2 wires from the movement contacts. One USB plug allows downloading the recordings. Optional GSM module can be mounted in the system to deliver alert messages via SMS.
Delivered with COACH VIEW software, working under Windows, it allows viewing all recordings easily. Search filters allow revealing quickly all eventual applied overloads with corresponding date and time. Through mouse click you will visualize the actual load spectrum of the concerned hoist.
COACH DATA is also a support to the maintenance management. The system decrements the operation hours through an algorithm that considers the movement durations AND the corresponding load: a movement of 1 minute with 100% of the nominal load has more impact on the equipment than the same movement at 15% of the load. This calculation method allows determining the actual maintenance need, instead or an “arbitrary” maintenance interval. By means of a programmable alarm set point, COACH DATA will inform you on the actual remaining operation time before next maintenance and allow you to plan this maintenance operation without any emergency.
Primarily developed electrical overhead travelling cranes (EOT), COACH DATA can easily be adapted to any other type of crane.
4 additional configurable entries are available in option to monitor other equipments like anemometer (for harbor cranes), brake cycles, brake linings temperature … Feel free to describe your need, we will develop the appropriate code to record and analyze the requested elements.
