The Siemens Division Industry Automation is offering a matching system for IOLink sensor and actuator specifications connections. The system covers components and the integration in Totally Integrated Automation. The portfolio of IO-Link devices ranges from color detection, laser-based clearance sensors and ultrasonic sensors to two field distribution modules. Interfacing to the distributed peripheral is via an ET200S module. Parameters for the entire IO-Link system are set in Step 7 via the IO-Link configuration tool and the IO-Link system is integrated in the Simatic automation network.
