DIAS Drive 100: Asynchronous and Servomotors Under One Roof
DIAS Drive 100: Modular, Space Saving and Economic
The DIAS Drive 100 is a modular servo drive system that was especially designed for multiaxial applications. It impresses with its exceptionally compact form and optimized power loss. With the DIAS Drives of the 100 series, SIGMATEK has the power range up to 2 KW, which is ideal for packaging and material handling applications, covered.
With the DIAS Drive 100, SIGMATEK offers a compact, modular servo drive system that was especially conceived for highly dynamic machines in the mid and low power ranges and is seamlessly integrated into the system solution. The modular drive system allows the homogenous incorporation of inexpensive asynchronous and stepper motors into the axis system with highly dynamic servomotors. The user therefore receives an integrated system with comfortable motor control functionality at the price of a classic frequency converter.
Two power modules are available as well as axis modules for one or two servo drives in a power range of up to 2 KW. Depending on the power module and motor type used, the system can be operated in 1-phase with 230 VAC or 3-phase with 480 VAC.
The integration of brake resistance and a line filter as well as optimized power loss contribute to maintaining small space requirements and allowing fast and simple installation. Up to eight axes can be integrated onto a module carrier with simple snap technology and that with overall dimensions of only 300 mm x 155 mm x 152mm (W x H x D). Thanks to the minimum cycle times of the controller, the drive has excellent servo performance with an overload capacity of up to 300%.
Motors, Feedback and Safety
Servo, linear, torque, asynchronous and three phase stepper motors can be controlled and all conventional feedback systems can be used. The safety functions, Safe Torque off (STO) and Safe Stop 1 (SS1), are integrated into the standard system and simplify the integration of the drive technology into the machine's safety concept.
