SIKA Calibrator Series News

The new TP 17-ZERO is another high-precision instrument of the SIKA calibrator series. This metal block calibrator enables the calibration of various thermometers and sensors for temperatures ranging between -10 °C and +100 °C.

The 7 block bores reach the desired temperature with the aid of cutting edge Peltier technology for active cooling and heating. The desired temperatures are achieved quickly, even at high ambient temperatures.

The integrated digital controller sets the reference temperature of 0 °C quickly and precisely with ±0.05 °C accuracy and ±0.05 °C stability. The display resolution is 0.1 °C.
If the desired temperature deviates by more than ± 0.1°C, it is displayed by the integrated shift-index and a +10 VDC info signal is generated for remote query.

The block calibrator can be simply used as an ice point calibrator or ice point reference, creating a permanent reference point temperature. This facilitates calibration of thermal elements; and complicated and sensitive methods, e.g. the water fixed-point cell, can be replaced. The risk of freezing and damage in transit no longer exist.
