SILVENT is now introducing a newly developed series of safety industrial silencers for installation on compressed air valves. The silencers are equipped with a patented warning indicator that shows when backpressure in the system becomes too high due to contaminates in the diffuser. This allow service personnel to both see and, through an elevated noise level, hear that it is time to change the silencer before costly and unnecessary production stoppage occurs in the system. Since the safety silencer’s warning indicator extends when activated, it is also possible to utilize electronic monitoring to automatically stop the machine for silencer replacement.

These safety silencers provide noise abatement of 30-35 dB(A). Silvent offers safety silencers with connection diameters of 1/8” up to 2”.
