This was the objective of Solartron Metrology when they set out to produce their comprehensive SI3000 range of Transducer Display/Controllers.

The use of a common platform throughout the range, and the ability to accept inputs from diverse transducer technologies, makes the SI3000 range extremely flexible, cost effective, and easy to use.

The SI3000 range comes with a high resolution 7 Digit Colour LCD fast update display that includes Analogue Bar Graphs and outputs with fast acting I/O, DC, 4-20mA and RS232 outputs.

Data Logging of up to 10,000 readings is available, as well as Peak Hold, Presets, Maths and Max’-Min’ values, with the display changing colour depending on whether the values are in or out of range for each transducer input or the sum of their values.

The SI3000’s 7 digit display enables high resolution to be achieved when used with long absolute displacement transducers or very high resolution when precise positioning or measurements are required.

An intuitive menu, accessed via an IP65 rated front panel, makes installing the instrument easy, even if the instruction manual has been lost.

Solartron Metrology’s extensive, and continually growing, range of Digital Probes, Linear Encoders and Analogue Input Modules are all compatible with the SI3000 Series, as well as their LVDT, Half Bridge, DC, 4-20mA Displacement Transducers. Ametek Gemco 4-20mA magnetostrictive Transducers are also well catered for.

The SI3000 Series has been configured to accept inputs from other types of DC and 4-20mA transducers, for example, pressure, force and temperature or third party LVDT Transducers.
