In a palm tree plantation, the environment and working conditions prevented our customer from using his skidsteer to the fullest:
- Tires slipped on the wet terrain
- A lot of fuel, time and efforts were wasted trying to get the skidsteer out of difficult situations or to move the loads around.
- There were marks and holes left in the delicate soil of the plantation.

To solve all these issues at once: Solideal created an efficient Over the Tires tracks: OTT.
OTTs were quickly and easily installed (15 minutes to put them on) and immediately tested on the field. Results were unsurprising: great traction and great floatation as promised. Clearing the rest of the undergrowth of the palm plantation was completed in half the time usually required and without damaging the ground.
“Due to the increased efficiency, the original plan to purchase 4 OTTs was reduced to 2 units as they could see that these will last long enough to finish the season.” said Chye Hua Ng, Solideal Regional sales manager for Asia.
