Furniture dampers from STABILUS provid a high level of user comfort
The oil hydraulic dampers of the STAB-O-SHOC series from STABILUS support easy opening and closing of all types of cabinet industrial doors. They can be used for controlled vibration and motion damping, or end stop damping. They allow handling even extra-wide or extra-deep furniture flaps safely and comfortably. This requires the use of suitable devices for relieving stress on the professional hinges and allowing dampened lowering of such large flaps. These are the very design-oriented applications in furniture construction that the oil hydraulic industrial dampers of the STAB-O-SHOC line from STABILUS have been designed for. They will be presented by STABILUS at the ZOW Bad Salzuflen Hall 19, booth E3, at Feb. 25 - 28, 2008.
These single-tube dampers are compact, maintenance-free, and ready for installation. They consist of a piston rod and a damper piston that carries the dampening cocks, which are located in a pressure tube. While STABILUS offers a large number of different damper variants, the standard line alone covers a broad range of furniture applications. For example, STAB-O-SHOC dampers are used as stop or movement dampers in the construction of pharmacy professional cabinets and trash cans. Even tanning bed manufacturers use them for designing safe and comfortable tanning beds.
The STABILUS product range includes both position-dependent as well as position-independent damper variants. The selection of the correct damper depends on the size and weight of the doors, installation situation, and damping forces. Besides the standard variants, STABILUS is able to provide any customer-specific design solution.
