STABILUS dampers established in machine & automotive construction

They prevent professional washing machines from migrating, provide ergonomic seating for industrial excavator operators and eliminate vibration in industrial machining systems: Wherever vibration shocks and jolts compromise safety, impair comfort or impact on the required precision, the numerous variants of oil hydraulic shock absorbers in the STAB-O-SHOC line from STABILUS prove to be reliable solutions. Depending on the design, they can be installed orientation-specific or independent of mounting orientation. The standard types alone cover a large variety of industrial and automotive applications. The various models have maximum damping forces of 800-9000 N (compression/tension), while the modular piston system allows adjusting tension and compression forces to each application. Many models are designed to distribute forces symmetrically; in other cases damping is unidirectional - for example, in the STAB-O-SHOC dampers for flaps. STAB-O-SHOC dampers perform important functions in vehicle construction, such as isolating the passenger compartment; in current collectors; in overrunning brake systems, or in implements mounted. The large range of applications also includes all kinds of flaps, hoods and lids in vehicles, machines and systems. The selection of a suitable STAB-O-SHOC variant depends on the damping forces and mounting orientation required, as well as on the available installation space. In addition, STABILUS service technicians can simulate the desired motion sequences and create concrete installation proposals using specific software. If our standard line does not provide the optimal solution, the development engineers can realize individual damper solutions according to customer requests.
