The RC Si M30 IP 69K is a magnetic safety sensor in a cylindrical enclosure developed by steute especially for the use in hygienic areas of the food processing industry. Sensor and actuator specifications are housed in a stainless steel enclosure and the special sealing system which enables the regular treatment of the safety switchgear to a high-pressure professional hose at water pressures of up to 10 bar and temperatures reaching up to 80 °C. Tests from an independent laboratory have proved the new detection ability to operate and function under these rough conditions.

At the same time the RC Si M30 IP 69K is offered in different contact variants 1NC/1NO and 2 NC guarantees a high level of safety: it can be applied in safety circuits to control category 4 as per EN 954-1. Even an ATEX-related design for potentially explosive atmospheres caused by dust and gas is available. The coded magnet provides protection against manipulation; the high switching distance enables the concealed mounting behind stainless steel and thermoplastic covers.
