The Garant and Holex brands include drills suitable for depths 3xd to 12xd, with and without internal coolant holes, with ultra fine micro grain carbide grades and technically advanced multi-layer coatings.

For hole depths up to 6 x D, there are 2 options, solid design or with internal coolant holes, these drills have a strong core and special point geometry ensuring the cutting edges maintain high self centering accuracy and the straight cutting edges with slight edge honing combined with the special flute profile, produces short chips.

The 8 x D and 12 x D drills are standard with internal coolant holes and possess the added benefit of 4 guidance lands, which stabilizes the point, allowing for lower cutting forces particularly at full depth, also straighter holes are produced with a superior surface finish.
