The deltaflow-Pitot is a portable measurement for flow and velocity according to VDI 2640 in ducts and pipes of 0.2m to 10m of diameter. The deltaflow-Pitot works according to the known differential pressure principle, but is in contrast to the classical prandtl tube a straight probe which creates approximately 2.5 times higher differential pressure. Thus the deltaflow-Pitot flow accesses pipes easily through existing studs. Furthermore it has a 60% higher flow range compared with the prandtl tube.

Since the dletaflow-Pitot is made from high-temperature steel, it can be used at temperatures up to about 1000 ° C. The large dp tappings make the deltaflow-Pitot insensitive to dust and condensation. With handy extension pieces the deltaflow-Pitot can be used in diameters up to 6m.
