From now on, TEKA Absaug- und Entsorgungstechnologie offers its costumers the “BlowTec”, an optimized solution for the hall filtration that could be seen from June 6th to 9th at the trade fair Blechexpo (hall 6, stand 6404) in Stuttgart. The central extraction and filter unit that is part of the approved AIRTECH-series is specially developed to be used in industrial companies where a local extraction cannot be realised or where the unit is additionally used to clean the air in the production hall. It is developed in order to work energy-saving and cost-cutting. At the same time, it is very powerful and flexibly constructed.

The unit absorbs the polluted air by means of a piping, filters it and returns it to the working hall via adjustable jets as soon as the cleaning process is completed. This way, the device provides a better room climate in metal-processing factories, improves the health protection for the employees and increases the efficiency of production processes.

Powerful and durable filter cartridges
The filter system is equipped with powerful and durable filter cartridges of the category BIA M. They filter more than 99 % of the pollutants. Due to the special geometry of the filter cartridges, the particles can be dedusted efficiently and carefully while the consumption of compressed air is very low. “This saves energy, leads to higher lifetimes of the filter cartridges and helps saving money while permanently ensuring high extraction efficiency”, TEKA director Erwin Telöken summarizes. It is possible to save even more energy and costs with the help of an optionally integrated frequency converter in order to control the system according to individual needs.

Another advantage: The air circulation directs the warm air in the production hall from the ceiling to the actual working area. This allows to reduce the energy costs during the heating period. Otherwise, it is also possible to direct the air outside the hall.

“BlowTec” is characterized by a high variability. As the modular construction of the system ensures short production and delivery periods, the standardised elements of the unit can be arranged according to the needs of the costumer. The height and the length of the piping can also be selected individually. “Therefore, the system adapts to the local conditions and can equally be installed in halls with low ceilings”, Erwin Telöken explains.
